I like any console that I DON'T have to buy! Meaning I like any I can get an emulator for and play them on the computer lol. I personally own though 2 nintendos, sega, 2 super nintendos, 2 nintendo 64s, 2 playstation 1s, and a Gameboy advance. Never hurt to have spares... I don't plug them in much now though, because I got adapters that let me use the controllers from N64 and Playstation on the computer, so all I do is download the emulator, pop in the playstation 1 or PS2 cd in the drive, and play them on the computer as if I was playing a real playstation. Why go through all the trouble of hooking up 20 diffrent consoles when you can just play everything on one machine???

o0o0 nice sounds like a collector to me   personaly i hate emulators , for me it defiys playing the old scool games in the first place.

for me its all about orignal cases, games and booklets the hole 9 yards . i know what you mean about the cord situation and the fiddling involved hah.

i got a sega Master system 2 and sega Mega Drive  running off a double power connection adaptor and old school ariel Hub with the sega genisis    other side the power adator for the Nintendo and Super N then for the N64 and gamecube with a AV Hub

takes up 3 power points(cause of the genisis) and is just a matter of choosing which Av you want then arial channel if playing the old scool

the only thing that kills the old machines is the pluging in out and changing cords, keep them in 1 spot and they will last forever!!!

(ps1 2 n 3 in diffrent room because of internet gaming ) and im still looking for a cheap  dreamcast :P

i hear what your saying about the pads on pc sirenix, i wouldnt mind trying them out on some online pc games eg:sport games would be cool
