Just in case there are some people out there who can't, like me, connect to the shard through ConnectUo (http://www.connectuo.com/release/CUODesktop_Latest.zip) here is what to do:

1. If you don't have the program Razor, download it here http://www.runuo.com/razor/
2. Start Razor and if it isn't made automatically, change UO  Data Directory to where you have uo installed.
3. In server put: Server: halfway.dyndns.org Port: 2593
!!!!This might change overtime, but I will change it here if the ip changes.!!!!
4. Press okay, this should make you connect to the shard and then you just write the account name and password you want.
5. Play and have fun!

P.S. you can also use razor to macro.

Having issues logging onto the shard.  I get some dll file error.  Have you guys patched or something or do I just need to dump and reload UO?

what client version u have? recomended not to use later than 6.0.1 or something like that

Well, I have 2 hard drives installed.  UO was never lost, however is there a way for UO connect to locate UO?  That is probably the issue.  Just a guess.

open connect uo then minimize it ant in start bar on the right corner screen u gonna see connuo logo,  right click and configuration also u can add AK to add local server with his curently ip...i hope this was what u want to hear?  

Well I figured out the loading problem.  Now I cant connect to the shard.  Must be down or forgot my password, but I doubt the latter.  You have ICQ?

hey, sorry the host computer did go down, apparently there was a power outage and port numbers got changes.  Shard will be temp. hosted on the old computer I was using, will be down for about 2 hours today, then back on the dedicated computer again.  (please note this is because the dedicated computer is an hour away at home and I am at school) Still waiting on Sirenix though to come make it all better.  but for now, i'll leave the slower server running so you can at least check connectivity.

Im Just happy to see the server back up n kickin i was startin to get some capentery withdraws didnt even no it was possable

ive been trying to reload my uo back on but it seems connectuo.com is down or no longer at that adress and i havent had any luck in the search engine.   anyone know anuther place that im able to download connect uo

yea connectuo always has some problems haha, someone might be able to put the connectuo thing somewhere were you can download it, I didn't find a place like that either so I would suggest you do like me and try using Razor to connect to the shard or some other way, maybe uogateway works, not sure...

razor and gateway both didnt work . ive never had a problem with connectuo website before hah its like it didnt even exsist. o well i know 1 of you smart people will throw an idea out i can try. im nearly back on shard haha soooo close i can tastee it !

I'm back... hmm you got any help Funky? if not I would suggest that you try again with razor. I read on other forums, that I found about connectuo not working, people that suggested to use razor instead for now.
