*From the desk of Mia the reporter*

As Spawn sat alone in his cell in the Yew prison the one thing he could think of was getting out.  During his stay acording to the prosacuter, Spawn had atempted to escape his fate by drinking a poison potion left in his possession for the care of his plant. What he didn't know however was that there is no death in the Yew Prison. He later somehow managed to unlock his cell and sneek past the guards, and into the office of Warden Saxon. That poor man had no chance against this dangerous criminal...

After being captured again, out of options, Spawn was forced to wait for the eventual trial.

The charges against this man where long indeed. The court room feel into silence when the jailer read the charges: "The charges against the defendant Spawn are as follows:
"Murder of the High Councilman Donor with a deadly weapon.
Using poisons in an unlawful mannor.
Two counts of murder, against Arkatis, and Moto.
One account of atempted murder against Xakonia.
Theift of property from Arkatis.
Two accounts of atempted escape.
One account of murder against Saxon the Warden.
and finaly:
Unlawful possesion of poisoned items."

Councilman Nantan had the best view of the murder of COuncilman Doron, in ways too graphic to describe in this paper, Doron explained how the poison worked it's way through the Councilmans body. This proved to be a very disturbing event. Many in the courtroom where flooding the floor with their tears, and gasps of pure shock.

The most damageing part of the trial for Spawn however, was the prosecutor's evidence. Be it luck or be it stupidity on Spawns part, but the murder weapon was still in his possession upon his capture, "... along with other 'ninja' like items," the prosecutor had said.

Next to take the witness stand was the Drow Xakonia. Many still have little to no trust for the words of a Drow, espically a female Drow, but that did not seem to be an issue in this case. The murder of Arkatis and Mato where the topic. In her own words she described how Spawn steped in and out of the shadows as he aproached their location at the Dugeon of Despise, and how he waited till Arkatis was badly injured before he decided to attack. After killing him, Spawns next target was Xakonia herself. She described her struggle with the deadly poison as she fled the dungeon to get to the healer.

When asked about if Spawn had indeed taken items from Arkatis she replied saying that she was not there to witness it.

Wounds on the body of Mato where that of the same as the wounds on Arkatis from the poisoned blade, and not of the ratmen.

Found in the late Saxon's office was a little note that Spawn left as a warning before his recapture. It describes Spawn's appitite for blood. "Blood flows easily. Don't touch me... I am evil...", the note had read the prosecutor had said. In a test, the handwritting in the book was the same of that of Spawn, putting the final words into the jurys ears they needed to hear.

Spawn began to growl as the jury read the verdicts to the multiple charges.

"On the charge of Murder of the High Councilman Donor.
Guilty
On the charge of Using poisons in an unlawful mannor.
Guilty
On the charge of atempted murder against Xakonia.
Guilty
On the charge of Theift of property from Arkatis.
Not Guilty for Lack of Evidence
On the charge of Two accounts of atempted escape.
Guilty
On the charge of murder against Saxon the Warden.
Guilty
On the charge of Unlawful possesion of poisoned items.
Guilty"

Judge Maxwell, a man in the past not in favor of a death sentance, repeated his usal tactics, and exiled Spawn to the facit of Felucca, "...untill such time your crimes can be forgiven..."

As he was draged from the court room Spawn yelled back at his public defender, "why didn't you protect me!?" The defender during the trial said that spawn had purchased the items from a traveling merchant, and that "someone" broke into his house using the rune in the rune book that he "purchased" as well, and stole his pome book, leaving it at the Wardens office to frame him. He also stated that Spawn was indeed at Despise but was there to help his "friends" who where in danger. Needless to say these excuses did not go over well with the jury.

It is good to see a guilty verdict on all but one of the charges in this case, however I do wish Judge Maxwell had not been opposed any tougher sentance. I will respect his dissision however...
