I was just going to post this to Sirenix, but I figured why not let everyone see it?

This is what me and Paldin have done in the last two months during our free time we devoted towards improving the shard.

Paladin spells gain a bonus based on your virtue ranks.

Added Stuff

Reward Converter
Turn in a vet reward to regain the spent point. Accepts non-dye tubs and vet reward items that have not lost too much durability. So while you can try out the Holy Sword, you cannot simply turn it in to heal it.

Strong Dragon
Fixed I think, lacks in game testing but the breath is rescaled. I'll have it in-game tested by monday night and spawning if it works.

Many 8th items are added but no supported in the vet gump as of yet.

Blue MAges can have up to 70.0 in locked skills.
Bondable pets no longer self delete
Collection rewards can be dyed
Meers use FightMode.Evil as they should now
Savages got a beef up and new abilities
Fixed shard crash with traps
Stam drain scales with weapon type
Ecp weapons no longer deal 400+ damage
Stealable artifacts turned on
Animated undead aquire as normal
Some Necro spells check MR now
Ancient Magery scales up now (but there is a bug in gaining still)
Powerscrolls are updated for the shard's cap.
Blue Magic's Status changes
Some speech support for talking vendors
TileMatrix is turned off in a poor attempt to enable haven, which failed.
Red Soulstone Token added as a 6th level vet reward.
Charger ethereal added as a 7th level vet reward.
Polarbear ethereal added as a 9th level vet reward.
Stackable potions.
Clilocs fixed on spring items.
You can now use Ancient Magery spells to gain.
Seance has been rehualed and is paritaly working, will setup monsters ignoring you soon.
There are others, this is just what I remembered (so far) today.

which is great but I wonder if we could have the same thing with those items from museums and stuff, like you wouldn't get money or anything back but the points. I think that would be nice...

I offer you the opportunity to join me in glorious battle. I know there are some amongst you whose combat skills are not yet developed. Sadly you will be used as decoys. But your children will know that you fell for a noble cause. Now who's with me?

only thing wrong with that is people can wear items down to 1 durability and then trade in for a clean item.  or keep trading in items until they get a weaponn with the favored slayer... unless we charge like 2500 or something for the trade in fee, like a "restocking fee".

sounds great haha cnt wait to try it out . ye ur right on that one palidn sounds like it would be abused.  maby beef up the fee to 25k heh or maby some other way not rly sure hah.

Durabilty can be checked to turn in, but the problem lays in the points system and other unfinished areas, easier to pass that off for a Server/ML update for Sirenix to do

btw, potions are stackable if your having dissapearing issues.

You need to run a client updated to 6.0.1.3 in order to have these changes (remember, don't over patch)

Oh, I suppose I should highlight the talking vendor part. If not when the random chance for the NPC to say he can't hear you will kick in when your talking in a tavern or something and but all confused thinking I'm online picking on you.

Currently they only support hello, how are you, and where is for towns & inns. NPC have 5 attitude levels, a few randomized answers based on those for the questions you ask. Bankers are not including in this, but player barkeepers are. I hope to expand on this system to provide a better RP depth to the shard later on.

If you wish to help out in this area, I can always use it due to the task being a massive time comsumptation.

just keep in mind that the vampire robes are intended to be extreem rares like, Umm... only one in existance. I'll figure out exactly how to "reward" them when I upload the Lycan Turn spell.

also I just wanted to add a thought I sent to paldin. When the vampire is wearing the robe, he should have to put the hood Down inorder to "bite" someone because his face should be exposed to do it. naturally the spells will have to be changed, to check for the person wearing that itemID (which I think is just the shroud of shadows am i right??)

it's a custome hooded robe, i'll have to send you all the details of it, but yea it has an itemID you can check for.  I can change that before you even come back full time

hmm I thought ancient magery skill gain was already working since I made it past 180 (with powerscroll) in magery about more than a week ago using ancient magery, but maybe something else with it was wrong, or you're late with posting  ;)
in any case, great job, will soon have 190 in magery, then we can go kick some champs ass again
