Ummm ya... I'm alive... If I thought money was tight before its real bad now. BUT as I've said every month the last few, It "SHOULD" get better soon.

Guy I'm staying with can't stand not having cable (only standard TV and a DVD player with 3 boys is impossible) and he hates not having internet.

I came home here to see all the new fabolious updates that RunUO has finished.... and... nothing... Not even a SVN update, its still exactlly the same version as I got on my computer. so what the hay...

Because of the wait, I haven't really done alot for when I do actually come back in full swing of things. I have just done minor things, like making a few new abilities for the yet unfinished Vampires/Lycans (werewolves and such) But other then that I haven't really done anything I was expecting to have a new RunUO version by now that would have forced us to start over again. Now that its aparent that they are not going to update any time soon, I may go ahead again and start to work on the OWL stuff (when ever I get time to do so)

It's hard to say exactlly when I will be back. Right now Im looking at tax refund time for sure, but if its at the current place im staying or home, may change depending on the outcome of many things.

Still alive great to hear mate i hope things start looking up ur way. Dnt forget about the beers now , always needed in these kinda times just to get the spirits flowin u no wat im sayin haha

howdy sirenix... wow... you know me hosting the shard was only supposed to be for like a month in october... heh... I''ll keep it up and running as long as people want to keep using it though.  I'll be heading back to college on Jan. 22nd.  at that time i'll keep the shard running on the dedicated computer at my home address.  Hopefully I will be able to set up a remote connection so i can restart it and back things up when needed.  otherwise, i'll be stuck back on that slow connection.  I'll keep you all up to date.  Please note, I haven't touched the shard since sirenix left because i'm afraid of creating lag by being on while hosting the shard.

we are all greatfull that you have hosted and kept the shard running this long Palidn, even though you were supposed to only do it for a short time it's good that you didn't let it go down for all this time.

Things are starting to get to be a routine at my new place and I'm starting to get more free time again. Hopefully I can start working on the shard. I have briefly worked on a few things for the shard like making the lycan abilities and such, but its not been tested. I'm having problems getting it to run properly on the dell for some reason.

As far as when I should be back, were looking at getting the internet back by tax time to get all the bills caught up. Hopefully I'll have my big computer back and up by then, and "maybe" RunUO will get updated by the (although doubtful) if they don't then Were just going to update to the lates Subversion and say to hell with updating it anymore as long as we dont have any more connection problems.

seems like he is waiting until tax rebate season.  which starts the end of January, but legally they don't need to send you anything until May 15th or so.  of course that would be the case if everything works out all well and good.  The US government likes to screw with us every once in a while, and he may get audited, which means he needs to show where all his money went and yada yada yada, really it could be anywhere from a week to a year.  lets just hope for the best, and pray he doesn't owe any money (yes the country could go the other direction and be jerks about it even more)  but hopefully that won't happen.

its been days without a game hah startin to get withdraws arrrr

today i dreamed dream.... i dreamed that Sirenix got back.. that he was making special event or something to celebrate his return and i was flooding my friends with messages to log in and play COZ SIRENIX has returned...  

you know, you seem very ungreatful for me running things.  Granted I wish Sirenix was back as well, so I could play one of the many pc games I own, but he isn't around yet.  Maybe stop complaining and offer pointers or tips for us to improve things around here.

Umm... like... more stuff came up again. BUT!, at the end of march my contract with Sam expires. and I'll prob be returning to normal. the bad news is, the dell computer I recently got the CD rom has quit working in it, and my old 2.0 computer has computed its last... Umm... compute? However I do have that brand new motherboard. Just wish I had known the 2.0 was shot before I bought my 78 camaros. I had ordered the power pack but it was in transit when I got the cars. but at 700$ for two classic car bodys, its a steal. See "Sirenix's stuff" on the main web page for some quick pick photos

ya I did kinda get "lost" for a while. barely could remember who I even was. one darn near 24/7 job, and another 16 hour labor intensive job, plus any spare time under a car ripping three engines out... all in basicly 2 weeks. (I'll post my progress journal on what I actually did to the cars some time..) Any spare time I had... well... there WAS no spare time.. spare time was sleep time. So I couldnt get away to get to the libarary to get a message off.

I know that I said that when the tax money came in, id have internet back, but, Sam didn't get as much as he thought and was barely even able to be able to pay me, much less the other important bills. Internet was a luxury so it simply got by passed. Right now hes running on wireless on his laptop, so its not my computer. and I'm only on it by premission (dont know his log in password) I won't make any other promisses till I know for sure I'm gona have a functional computer. I do have a few minor tweeks I been working on for the shard that don't require testing since I cant test the stupid things right now. but nothing huge.

Did I menchon the bad news that I don't have a computer right now that works right? I can't install UO anymore unless I download ML which I might do if I can, but I can't install my 9th aniv. disks. But now that I got the cars, I can slow down a bit and go ahead and get the parts I need for the computer. after all there not going anywhere any time soon...

The hireables mercs I was working on for the army thing I belive should be working right, if people been using them and the shards not crashing then I think they should be fixed. But its been a while so I don't remember, I think I just removed the pay timer and just made them paid for pets... I'll have to sit down and finish writting the story up to that point where the invasion takes place.

Umm lol ya the new versions finally out, heh palidn can you PM me the password for the RunUO/ConnectUO boards to the account? It won tlet me download it less I log in.
