Ok I have talked about this with alot of you all, and we all seem to agree, that since we might not be able to upgrade to UO: Kingdoms Reborn for a very long time, We may as well take what we got and make our world better. Since I am mostly the scrïpter, and will be busy trying to get scrïpts back in, I really won't have alot of time to dedicate to designing a new map. However, I am leaving in everyones hands. It is called UOLandscaper. It is a very complex tool. If you need any further advise on how to use it you might check on orbsydia, which is where the tool originated.

Some notes on what I would hope to see in a finished map:
I'd like to see a realistic world with earth like enviroments. Frozen Tundras to the north, and south warm tropical/desert areas near the equator. At least one large continent would be nice, but also having sevral large and small islands would also be nice to see with the large landmass. in two small regions (don't really have to be much larger then Ice island) id like to see a fern forrest, a mushroom field, and a coruppted forrest all like in Malas, so we do not completly loose those features by replacing malas. But at the same time they shouldnt take over the whole landscape as it is now.

Other terrain types might include a valcano, ocean ruins, or anything of the sort. being creative is the key to having a nice world.

You can post your BMP files that you create here for us to see if its something that we can all agree on, and would like to explore.

As I said before I probably will not have alot of time to do this, and learn a new program but if someone is willing to sit down and take the time to learn how to use this, and have tools needed I will do what ever i can to help.
